A member of the Dean's Ambassadors, president of both 'Canes Chat and the Hurricanes on Ice club, Suzie Akim-Shittu has been ever-present on campus. If she wasn't in class or lab for her major, she was trying out new classes like sculpting in the art department, or on the metro to umiamimedicine where she worked in a research lab. 🥼 Suzie will cross the commencement stage this Friday as she completes her degree in biochemistry and molecular biology with minors in Japanese and psychology.
