#TSRUpdatez: The former Memphis police officers who were on trial for the fatal beating of #TyreNichols have been cleared on all charges. ____________________________________ According to nbcnews, on Wednesday, a Tennessee jury cleared #TadarriusBean, #DemetriusHaley, and #JustinSmith of second-degree murder and other charges connected to the death of Nichols. ____________________________________ After the verdict, Judge James Jones Jr. ordered that all men be released immediately. They were all serving time behind bars after being convicted on some federal charges stemming from Nichols’ death. Nichols died from a beating inflicted by the officers back in 2023.
