These have become my favorite type of shots to add into my videos, and here’s how I do it⬇️ Gear - Sony FX3 with a Sony 24-70mm, Ulanzi Suction Mounts x2, Rode Wireless Mics, and a tie down strap. The Setup - the first shot I had the camera mounted on the rear windshield, second I had my camera mounted on the driver side window to get the speedometer, and then the riskiest shot in my opinion is right behind the wheel. I usually mount it on the door, or the front fender. Pro Tip - Bring a microfiber towel to make sure the spot you plan to mount to is clean/clear. If it’s not, there’s a higher chance the cups with lose suction, and boom your gear is in pieces on the road.
