Happy Thanksgiving! 🍂 Today, we’re spotlighting a special piece in our permanent collection from Finnish-American artist Helmi Juvonen (1903–1985). Growing up in a creative household, Helmi’s early exposure to art inspired her prolific career across diverse media. With a playful use of color and an economy of line, Helmi often depicted birds. Here, she captures an iconic symbol of North America. 🦃
