We're counting down the days until "Søren Solkær: Sort Sol" opens at the National Nordic Museum on 12/9! Step inside the acclaimed Danish photographer's upcoming special exhibition, shown for the first time in a US museum. Solkær's work captures the mesmerizing shapes of starling "murmurations," a mysterious phenomenon known to obscure the sun temporarily, called "sort sol" in Danish. Renowned for iconic portraits of Björk, The White Stripes, Paul McCartney, and Adele, among others, Søren Solkær turned his lens to the sky in 2017, documenting the phenomenon across Europe. ✨ Members: don't forget to register for our exclusive Members Opening on Dec. 8 (it's free) for a special preview and a chance to hear from the artist!
