Experience an Icelandic midwinter feast at the National Nordic Museum! Together with our friends from the Icelandic Club of Greater Seattle, we’re raising our glass on February 24 to celebrate: “We made it through another winter! Have faith, and springtime is almost here!” 🥂 This year’s Thorrablót features such traditional Icelandic fare as Svið (boiled sheep’s head), Hákarl (fermented shark), Bjúgu (lamb sausage), Súrir Hrútspungar (pickled ram’s testicles), Reyktur Silungur (smoked salmon), and much more!
