Thanks to generous funding from the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe, the Museum is partnering with @uwvideo to produce a new orientation video for the Nordic Journeys core exhibition! The voices featured in the video will better represent the diversity of the Nordic countries and Nordic America. 🎤 Participants were posed with the question: "What does it mean to be Nordic?" They were also asked to reflect on the Museum's four core values: Openness, Sustainability, Social Justice, and Innovation. Look forward to the finished production in early Summer 2022! 📷 1. Ceremonial leader and artist @chenoa.egawa, who is Coast Salish of the Lummi and S'Kallam Nations of Washington State. 2. & 3. Norwegian-Gambian playwright @camarajoof, who presented her latest work as a stage reading at the Museum last weekend.
