The City of Dublin proudly welcomed 1️⃣ 0️⃣ 0️⃣ new American citizens in a naturalization ceremony on May 8! 🌍 The group of petitioners represented 43 countries, including El Salvador, Mexico, Honduras, Columbia, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, Morocco, Algeria, Laos, Vietnam and Nepal, ranging from 19 to 84 years old. ✨ The ceremony featured Mayor Chris Amorose Groomes and Dublin Resident Isao Shoji as speakers. 💬 Shoji, an immigrant himself, told his fellow citizens, “You now have one certainty that will forever change your life: From this day forward, you are an American.
