Recently checked out Kaizr (kaizrnj) a brand new fast-casual Middle Eastern-Egyptian spot by Rutgers. There’s plenty of seating available. I really loved their shawarma and the fact that they offer some Egyptian dishes because I don’t think you can really find Egyptian food in this area let alone in NJ in general with the exception of 2-3 places (still not common). Things I would get again: cheese hawawshi, chicken shawarma on fries, mixed platter (if I’m super hungry!!), Kaizr lemonade, and hibiscus drink Their food is 100% halal and the chicken is by hand.
