Yesterday, the Army in Scotland team faced off against their RAF counterparts in a thrilling 80-minute match at Stirling RFC. The squad had prepared for a tri-service competition, however the Royal Navy unfortunately had to withdraw at the last minute. The match was tough, the RAF’s set piece and solid defense proving too strong for the Army to overcome. Despite best efforts and a spirited second-half comeback, time was not on the Army’s side. The squad unfortunately missed out on retaining the title for a fourth year, but we’re proud of our team’s resilience and spirit.
