I work on websites daily, and I've narrowed down some of the most common platforms. There are many options out there, more than just Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, and WordPress, but these are some of the most common that I see as a web designer. There are reasons I prefer one over the other, but it also depends on how user-friendly the platform is. Have you tried building a website without any background knowledge?
