LIONS KICK OFF POSTSEASON WITH IMPRESSIVE EFFORTS: The jserra.swimmingdiving teams dove into the postseason with some impressive individual and relay performances at CIF-SS Division 1 Preliminaries on Thursday at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. The quartet of junior Nolan Baker, senior Noah Ryznar, senior Taylor Bell, and junior Connor Colman put forth a pair standout of relay efforts, swimming to All-American automatic times of 1:23.70 in the 200 Freestyle Relay and 3:04.01 in the 400 Freestyle Relay. Both efforts were the second fastest qualifying times of the day respectively. Baker was also an individual standout, as he recorded the second fastest qualifying time of the day in both the 50 Freestyle (20.63) and the 100 Freestyle (44.91). Both of those swims were All-American consideration times, with his clocking in the 100 Freestyle setting a new school record, bettering the previous record of 44.93 set in 2023 by former standout Bode Brinkema.
