Next stop: Fenton! The University of Michigan Symphony Band brought energy and excitement to our third performance and clinic at Fenton High School. The program featured Overture to Candide by Leonard Bernstein, Rolling Thunder by Henry Fillmore, Quinn Mason’s Trombone Concerto, and Mackinac Island Suite by U-M alum Andrew Perkins. Fenton High School musicians joined the Symphony Band on stage, led by their director Patrick Conaton, with enthusiastic support from their feeder middle schools in the audience.
