ART 188 “Art and Society: Renaissance to Modern” students had two unforgettable trips full of color, sound, and creativity. In Metz, the students visited Église St Thérèse and admired some of the largest stained glass windows in France. Including works by Marc Chagall, covering 6,500 m² (almost the size of a soccer field!). At the Centre Pompidou-Metz (modern art museum), they got a rare behind-the-scenes look at the setup of the upcoming exhibit and experienced Cerith Wyn Evans’ stunning light and sound installation, which sparked great discussion around one big question: Is this art? Later, they headed to Konschthal in Esch-sur-Alzette to see a thought-provoking exhibition by Luxembourg conceptual artist, Bert Theis, followed by a hands-on lithography and bookbinding workshop. It was a jam-packed, exciting, and creative experience! #LoveAndHonor #MUDECLuxembourg #MiamiOHAbroad #MiamiGlobal #Luxembourg #MUDECSpring2025
