Each semester, MUDEC alum, Bill Scroggie, hosts a special sweepstakes competition where students design their dream European trip itinerary for up to four people for a chance to win an unforgettable travel experience valued at $3,000! Bill's only request is that the winner send him a postcard from their destination. This semester’s winner, Michael Archacki (pictured on the right), took two friends on an epic adventure through the beautiful Lazio region of Italy, which includes the capital city of Rome. The group explored ghost towns as well as a few cities while also soaking in the history and charm of the Italian countryside. Reflecting on his trip last weekend, Michael shared, “My favorite part of the trip was walking the pathway to Civita di Bagnoregio. It felt like stepping into a computer screensaver—the views were stunning, and the town seemed almost surreal on the mountaintop. It was incredibly unique and breathtaking.
