French actor Gérard Depardieu has been found guilty of sexually assaulting two women on a film set in 2021 in a trial in Paris.⁣ ⁣ The 76-year-old has been handed an 18-month suspended prison sentence over the alleged assaults.⁣ ⁣ The two women accused him of groping them while on the set of a film called Les Volets Verts (The Green Shutters). He denied the allegations. ⁣ ⁣ Depardieu was not in court to hear the verdict, working on a film set in the Azores, off the coast of Portugal. He will appeal against the sentence. ⁣ ⁣ #Depardieu⁣
