Off Ice-
Before doing any field moves, especially ones that require more flexibility, it is very important to warm up off the ice. Warm up by jogging, foam rolling, and/or anything that will get your heart rate up!
*For the off-ice exercises, do 8-10 reps on both sides.
1️⃣ Front to Back Leg Swings
This is a great dynamic warm-up exercise. Focus on keeping your upper body still and increasing your range of motion.
2️⃣ Lunge to Kick
While doing this exercise start in a lunge and focus on keeping your free-leg as straight as possible. Also, flex your free foot the entire time to lengthen your hamstring muscle.
3️⃣Leg Hold from Front to Side
First grab the inside of you free foot and extend it directly in front of you. Once your free leg is straight open it up to the side. While doing this exercise focus on where you can get your free leg the highest. Some pe...
