A few weeks ago we shared some tips on how to balance group lifts. This week global ambassador
@alicia_tr from
@zoulousfrance is sharing some office tips for the lifties! π«π·βΈπͺ
Part 1: Strong core = more control
The trickiest part about being lifted is the body control in the air. You basically have to squeeze everything while still
making it look effortless.
Exercises:
Planks: all 4 ways (30 sec each)
Unstable / moving planks: lift your leg up to create instability, rotate your shoulders while doing side planks, use cushions, ask a friend to push you
Shoulder strength: shoulder activation
Upper body strength: push-ups, pull ups
Part 2: The take off
A good take off will help your group to lift you up. You have
to find the right moment to bend and jump off the ice while
your group will bend and push you up.
Exercises:
Squat jumps, single leg squat jumps, lunges jumps...
Box jump (increase height...)
Stay tuned for more tips next week!
