Purpose isn’t just found on the field—it’s something we carry with us every day. Whether you’re stepping into the batter’s box or returning home from training, having a sense of purpose can be the foundation for strong mental health.
This Mustache May, I’m proud to team up with heartandarmor to highlight the connection between purpose and mental health.
Today I want to highlight the power of purpose—something both athletes and veterans deeply understand. For many veterans, the transition back to civilian life can feel like closing a chapter. But through community, service, and shared strength, purpose can be rediscovered.
Just like in baseball, where every role matters and every game brings new challenges, mental health is a journey of resilience—and no one has to go it alone.
With purpose being a focus this Monday, we honor the strength it takes to show up—for your team, your family, and yourself. Even the strong have off days, a solid purpose will always show up for you.
