In his position as director of the McNair Scholars Program, Rev. Michael Hunt '06 sees the opportunities everywhere to make connections and build relationships. For his dissertation work in the language, literacy, and culture Ph.D. program, he developed a mentoring model called Holistic Critical Mentoring by centering the voices of students and mentees. When he walks at #UMBCgrad next week, he'll be thinking about all those he has learned from during his tenure at UMBC.
