STATE CHAMPIONS (times FIVE!) CHS Rowing earned five state titles, three runner-up finishes and several outstanding performances that qualified boats for national championship regattas at the New York State Scholastic Rowing Championships in Saratoga Springs this past weekend. In the blue-ribbon event, the Varsity Eight, Canisius finished second scholastically and third overall, a finish that qualified the crew for the USRowing Youth National Championships in Sarasota, Florida, in June. This is the first time since 2014 that Canisius has qualified a Youth Eight for nationals.
