I’ve done the drive from Billings to Bozeman so many times I could do it blindfolded. I know every turn, every bump, every barn, and every spot to pull over for a quick photo. But this spot near Columbus along the Yellowstone River has always escaped me. I’ve seen these cliffs pop off with light so many times, but either I’m in a hurry to get to dinner with my family or I don’t have my gear with me.
