Commencement 2025 Keynote Speakers & Honorees We are honored to welcome Dr. Tom Humphries, '68 and G-'72 as this year’s undergraduate keynote speaker and honorary degree recipient. A Gallaudet alum and scholar who coined the term audism, Dr. Humphries is a leader in Deaf cultural studies and bilingual education. He will receive the Doctor of Humane Letters for his lifelong contributions to the Deaf community.
