When applying to colleges I didn’t pay attention to athletics programs/sports news. My friend Mike heard that I had never been to a game during my 3rd year, and knew that had to change. It wasn’t until the fall of 2022 that I went to my first RIT game and hockey game ever, thanks to my friend Mikayla. I instantly fell in love! RIT culture around hockey is something I had never seen! The passion, light, and energy that fill a big arena is something special! Corner Crew has some of the most passionate people I’ve ever met, and I could hear their chants throughout the arena.
