We certainly haven't forgotten, and neither have our alums who are doing awesome things abroad! “Taiwan is where the mountain meets the sea," Faythe Cooper ’24, on a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Taiwan, tells us. "Quite literally, you can see the mountains at the beach, which are alarmingly clean. One of my favorite memories was going to Hualien on the east coast to go to Fali Fali, an indigenous music festival. There’s really something special about Taiwan and the people really make a conscious effort to remember and celebrate their heritage."
