No. 11 Syracuse women’s lacrosse fell to Virginia Tech 14-11 Saturday, dropping its first game to an unranked opponent this season. The Hokies dominated from the start, as VT’s duo of Lauren Render and Mia Pozzi combined for 11 goals. Render and Pozzi propelled Virginia Tech to an 8-4 lead heading into halftime. On the flip side, SU couldn’t mount a comeback. VT held star attack Emma Ward silent until the final quarter. Click the link in our bio to read more about Syracuse’s loss at Virginia Tech.
