WNBA star
@kelseyplum10 has long been a dominant basketball player, but she really noticed her game start to soar when she put a stronger emphasis on her mental performance. She was motivated to create Dawg Class, an invite-only camp, to share what she's learned with some of college basketball's brightest stars so they can feel mentally prepared to play professionally.
“The game is mental,” Plum tells WH. “When I came from college to pro, I didn't really have any understanding or any awareness of what that even meant, and then how to translate it into my game.” Journaling, visualization, and positive self-talk are now key components of Plum's training, and also part of the fabric of Dawg Class.
