Last month, WPSU hosted Eventapalooza, a family event featuring make-and-take crafts and games for community children.

The event celebrated Indigenous people and collaborated with the Indigenous Peoples Student Association (IPSA) and the Indigenous Faculty and Staff Alliance (IFSA) at Penn State. It offered informational tables, a touch-a-truck with various vehicles, and crafts like collage suncatchers, animal masks, and bookmarks. Children also learned about the PBS KIDS show "Molly of Denali," which showcases the adventures of a young Alaskan native girl. The Penn State Men's Lacrosse Team demonstrated the sport of lacrosse, which has Native American origins.
