Last month, WPSU hosted Eventapalooza, a family event featuring make-and-take crafts and games for community children. Ā  The event celebrated Indigenous people and collaborated with the Indigenous Peoples Student Association (IPSA) and the Indigenous Faculty and Staff Alliance (IFSA) at Penn State. It offered informational tables, a touch-a-truck with various vehicles, and crafts like collage suncatchers, animal masks, and bookmarks. Children also learned about the PBS KIDS show "Molly of Denali," which showcases the adventures of a young Alaskan native girl. The Penn State Men's Lacrosse Team demonstrated the sport of lacrosse, which has Native American origins.
