Oronde Gadsden II has been selected by the Los Angeles Chargers with the 165th selection in the 2025 NFL Draft Saturday. He becomes the first Syracuse pass catcher to be drafted since Mike Williams, who was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the 101st pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. At SU, Gadsden established himself as one of the best Division I pass-catching tight ends, snagging 1,909 yards in two full seasons as a starter. He’ll follow in the footsteps of his father, who spent six years in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins. Click the link in our bio to read more about Gadsden’s selection.
