While interning at the House of Representatives last summer, Syracuse University senior Tyler Toledo was asked if SU had a College Democrats chapter. He had been thinking about it, but the question pushed him to finally start it. With support from his classmates, Toledo relaunched the chapter last fall and took on the role of president. Less than a year later, he now leads both the SU and New York state College Democrats, intending to establish chapters at other colleges around the state. “It's incredibly important for people in our demographic to make sure their voices are heard,” Toledo said. Click the link in our bio to read more about Toledo’s efforts.
