The program would like to welcome our new head coach, Johnny Walker. Walker played for the Arizona State NCAA team all five years, where he continued to break and lead ASU and NCAA records. By end of his collegiate career Walker had tallied 123 points in 139 games with back-to-back 20 goal seasons during the 2018–19 and 2019-20 seasons. After graduating from Arizona State Walker went on the play in the ECHL for the Utah Grizzles for two seasons and Allen Americans for one. In June 2024 Walker announced his retirement from professional hockey but has continued to coach and provide lessons. We are excited for what he will bring to the program and to our team.
