As we wrap up Women's History Month and our
#WomenWhoAdvocate ✨ we'd like to introduce you to Leslie Laing, Director of Adult Learner Programs & Services and Academic Life Coach at Penn State!
In her role at Penn State, Leslie's impact extends far beyond her campus responsibilities. As past president of the Forum on Black Affairs and chair of multiple Diversity Conferences, she's a powerhouse, involved in the Community Diversity Group, PA Prisons Society, volunteering for WPSU, and many more! Leslie draws inspiration from the transformations and influences we can achieve when we are prepared to endure discomfort and inconvenience in pursuit of justice.
She believes in living a purposeful life: “Our voices change the atmosphere and outcome, so I want to encourage everyone, wherever you are, that if there is an open seat, be willing to fill it. Allow your voice and contribution to make all the difference!”
