Smith Endowed Director of The Arboretum at Penn State. 🍂🌰🍁🎃✨ Pumpkin Fest 2024 kicks off on Friday, Oct. 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. and continues on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The festivities begin with the Pumpkin Giveaway on Sunday, Oct. 13, from 1 to 5 p.m. (or while supplies last), where festival participants can pick up a free pumpkin for the Jack-o’-lantern carving contest. This year’s festival brings exciting new features alongside familiar favorites: 🎃 No-Carve Pumpkin Decorating: On Friday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Children’s Garden, kids can get creative with pumpkin decorating, minus the mess. Registration is required due to limited space.
