The Meeting House, a coffee house based in Red Bank, announced Friday that it will be closing at the end of May.
The building was built in 1924, and the Allisons renovated the space into the coffee house and church it is today. Back in 2014, Heather Allison made the pastries, and she has been making them again recently, too. She even developed the recipe for a delicious dairy- and gluten-free peanut butter cookie, so folks with allergies could have a special treat, too. The couple’s children, Katie and Caleb, were also an instrumental part of helping with the coffee shop.
