Played last month for the 89th time, The Masters golf tournament is steeped in tradition. One of those traditions is that the food and drink available to spectators on the course is in either a wrapper or cup in Augusta National Golf Club's signature green, but otherwise plain — no brand names. Save, that is, for MoonPies, which have been made at Chattanooga Bakery since 1917. "We're the only branded snack food inside the concession stands" at The Masters, says Sam Campbell V, Chattanooga Bakery's vice president for manufacturing. He adds that MoonPie has been the "official snack of Mardi Gras" in New Orleans since the 1980s. Read the full story at the link in our bio.
