Election day is Tuesday, March 4. Chattanoogans can cast their ballot at their designated precinct to vote for Chattanooga mayor, city council and an amendment that opens city employment to other states. Around 9,000 voters took part in the early voting period that ran from Feb. 12 until Thursday. The Hamilton County Election Commission was still counting mail-in ballots as of Friday afternoon.
