Timmy Ball (Fy. | Hugo, Minn. | Centennial) was named both Field Athlete of the Year and Rookie of the Year after winning the shot put and discus competitions in his outdoor championship debut. Ball won the shot put with a distance of 15.80 meters (51' 10") and claimed the discus victory with a mark of 51.25 meters (168' 1"). He is the second Royal to win each award - former BU thrower Gabe Irons was the MIAC Field Athlete of the Year in 2021, while Adam Hokanson received Rookie of the Year honors in 2023.
