In St. Elmo at the base of Lookout Mountain, right by the Incline Railway, tucked between coffee and ice cream shops, restaurants and a wine store, is The Hummus Bowl. The Hummus Bowl is a refreshing respite of flavors brought to Chattanooga in 2022 by Abdul (Wahab) Alabid and his wife, Jinan. "I know the younger generation cares about the environment," Alabid said, "cares about health and cares about the food also.
