Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Josh Pratt said he always wanted to start his own business. With his interest in baking and a taste for fresh sourdough bagels not readily available near his home in Hixson, Pratt and his wife, Sara, began exploring the idea of opening their own New York-style bagel shop. The Pratts opened Brothers Bagel over the weekend at 3805 Hixson Pike. “We think this is a great location close to where we live, and we’ve wanted a New York-style bagel shop in Chattanooga ever since we moved here,” Josh Pratt said in an interview.
