There was a time when Jonas Worsham, a big man with a booming voice, commanded a room — from the pulpit from which he preached to his congregation at St. Tikhon Orthodox Church to his kitchen at Bluegrass Grill on Main Street.
Now, Lewy body dementia has robbed him of reality, causing his wife, Joan Marie Worsham, to make a difficult decision: Bluegrass Grill, a fixture on Main Street since opening in 2007, is for sale.
The sale doesn’t necessarily go to the highest bidder. The Worshams are looking for just the right person to continue “the labor of love that helped Father Jonas and I raise our family and serve our community,” Worsham said.
The restaurant will remain open until the right buyer is found.
