Alabama native Dustin Willett, 43, has spent his career working in large cities around the United States. In early 2024, he landed in a more peaceful setting on Lookout Mountain, working as executive chef of dining venues at Cloudland at McLemore Resort. Willett says he's handling the transition to Rising Fawn, Georgia, just fine. "It's been a good change of pace," he says. "I like things about being in the city as well as being somewhere more remote. I think it's about having the right mindset. Then you can be successful anywhere."
