I dress like the NEW YORKER that I am wherever I go, and you should too😉 Leading up to my Paris trip I was bombarded with videos about ‘how to dress like a French girl’ or ‘how to dress so you don’t stick out in Paris’ and so on. And absolutely no shade to the French girls but why would I want to do that? I’m not a French girl and I don’t think pretending to be one is gonna win me any points with the local crowd🤭 But seriously, we shouldn’t have to morph our personal style depending on where we’re traveling to. I think it’s fun to get inspired by local style but at the end of the day it should be YOU in that new place, not you pretending to be someone else so you “fit” into said place.
