Auburn Baseball wore two one-day-only alternate uniforms in 2016 as the Tigers hosted Tennessee for a weekend series.⠀
⠀
These new uniforms showcased vertical stripes similar to the traditional Northwestern stripes on the jersey sleeves and pants legs. In both locations, the stripes tapered to a point. The pants also featured an AU logo located inexcusably at the kneecap.⠀
⠀
The striping pattern was an odd iteration of the Northwestern stripes, with an extra set of stripes being placed on either side of the center stripe. The navy tops also feature an extra set of orange stripes. ⠀
⠀
The AU logo was located on the back of the jersey above the number. That detail would carry over onto the new set of uniforms that the Tigers would debut in 2018.⠀
Auburn would wear each of these jerseys just once and they would never see the light of day again.
