Big thank you to alumni Russell Makofsky for donating our first ever chess board! Russell was a member of our team during his time at JMSB, from which he graduated in 2007. Russell was back in town this week to receive the Concordia University Alumni Association’s International Excellence Award for his work surrounding The Gift of Chess, which he founded in 2020!
