Over the course of four decades with the Houston Police Department, artist Lois Gibson has been sketching the portraits of people accused of crimes, with her drawings helping to solve more than 1,300 cases that include kidnappings, robberies and murders. NBC’s Laura Jarrett reports for TODAY on the moment that led to her being hired by the police department and how she's able to create the portraits going on only the memories of often traumatized witnesses.
