The study of light has led to promising alternative energy sources, lifesaving medical advances, high-speed internet, and so many discoveries that we can't name them all in one social media post. As we conclude our continuous coverage of #LightDay2025, we want to extend a huge thank you to all the students, faculty, and advisors who made these celebrations possible. Each and every one of the subject experts that attendees heard from was a student once. Although we are saying goodnight to the International Day of Light for another year, we will be here year-round to support the next generation of optics, one student at a time.
