First published in 1993 by the Eden Book Society to their elusive list of subscribers, these six books are reproduced with their original cover styles. We worked with designer lookbird to restore the originals and present as authentic an experience as possible for new readers. Interestingly, the original designer, Erwin Eden, viewed the act of paper marbling as a form of divination. By 1993 it was Constance 'Connie' Eden, Erwin's great-niece, who was the Editor of the Society. She would die just six years after the publication of these books at the age of twenty-nine. Reportedly, in the days leading up to her death she had been seeking an unusual codex from rare book dealers and had fallen afoul of the wrong people.
