I often get the privilege of speaking in front of big businesses and I love it! However, it’s so incredibly special speaking to little kids. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak to little preschoolers and read my children’s book, The Mermaid with No Tail. I love seeing how their minds work when I show my prosthetic legs and take them off. It’s adorable to see their curiosity and how accepting they are of differences. I’m so proud of my children’s book and the main message it gives: the thing that makes you different is your greatest gift. It’s so true!
