At 48, my fitness routine isn’t about extreme workouts or chasing perfection. I focus on what actually moves the needle. These are my daily non-negotiables: ✅ 10,000 steps every day – Daily movement is one of the most effective tools for fat loss, hormone balance, and mental clarity. It doesn’t have to be complicated, just get moving! ✅ Strength training 3x a week – This is non-negotiable for women over 40. It helps preserve lean muscle, supports metabolism, and protects bone health. You don’t need hours in the gym just consistency. ✅ Focus on consistency, not perfection – Skipping a workout doesn’t mean you’ve failed. One “off” day doesn’t cancel your progress. Show up most days and give your body what it needs. ✅ Prioritize recovery & rest – Recovery is part of the plan. Especially as we age, we have to build in time to rest, reset, and support our hormones. These habits work because they’re realistic.
