We are pleased to share an encore post of photos from last Friday’s spring football game at the practice field. Junior Nehemiah Trejo said that the scrimmage game offered an excellent opportunity for the team to get some competitive reps in a gametime environment thanks to the crowd who came out to support the team. “We put on a good show for the eighth-graders and the community about what this [upcoming] year is going to look like,” Trejo said. “Because of the people [who attended the game], we played with a lot more energy and [completed] more competitive reps. Because of the crowd we were going 100 percent in a game atmosphere. We played our hardest and [tried] not to mess up.” While Trejo saw a lot of promise in the scrimmage, he also saw some areas where the team need to put in some work. “We just need to work on doing our jobs and completing tackles,” he said.
